Session 1: A One-Hour Web-based Training Session on Key Capabilities of Remote Leadership
– August 25, 2020: 7 AM – 8 AM PT
This interactive session will orient and equip you with evidence-based knowledge about the opportunities and challenges of remote leadership, the Distributed Leader capability framework, key tools and strategies to put to immediate use in your company.
Session 2: Distributed Leader Profiler Assessment and 1:1 Debrief
Upon completion of the Distributed Leader Profiler (DLP), you will have a 90-minute 1:1 Coaching Debrief with a certified DLP consultant to discuss how to begin improving your remote leader capabilities. Participants will receive a comprehensive, customized report focused on understanding your strengths and development areas for managing a distributed team.
Session 3: A One-Hour Web-based Training Session on Successful Remote Leadership Action Planning

A 1-hour Group Coaching session where a focus will be provided on Action-Planning for Successful Remote Leadership. Additional best practices and habits for exceptional remote leadership will be shared, ending with a path towards continuing to drive distributed workplace success.

LAURA HAMBLEY, PH.D., R. PSYCH
Dr. Laura Hambley is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist based in Calgary, Alberta. Laura is co-founder and President of Work EvOHlution, which creates innovative assessment and training for mobile/remote employees, leaders, and teams. Laura is an experienced consultant and entrepreneur who is passionate about addressing the critical role of leadership, work styles/personality, and team dynamics as they relate to distributed work. Since 2004, Laura has published extensive research on the critical success factors for effectively leading distributed teams and has developed and delivered seminars on distributed teams for organizations, universities and international conferences. In addition to Work EvOHlution, Laura co-founded Canada Career Counselling (Toronto/Calgary), the Leadership Success Group, and leads a team of workplace psychologists across Canada.
Work EvOHlution’s Distributed Work Profiler was written about in Scientific American magazine as the world’s first personality profile of a remote worker. Work EvOHlution was also selected to present three times at South by Southwest, the innovation megaconference, in Austin, Texas (2018 and 2019).
